IPL 10: David Warner faces extra ball as umpires goof up comes in spotlight. David Warner 'Cheated' or umpires 'Blunder' against Mumbai. A T20 game moves at a very rapid pace. There is very little time for players, umpires and even the fans to think and react, and so sometimes mistakes do happen. But in the 10th match of the IPL 10 between Mumbai and Hyderabad something really bizarre happened. Actually, the umpires Nitin Menon and CK Nandan committed a big error during this match. Hyderabad skipper David Warner faced the 1st ball of over when he had to be at non-striker's end. Warner played the last ball of the sixth over. When the next over began it was Shikhar Dhawan's turn to face Mitchell McCleneghan but Warner took strike to the first ball as well. Warner would have known that it was not his chance to face the first ball, or How did the umpires let it happen. Was it umpires mistake or the batsman cheated is still debatable.
