Yogi Adityanath waives off farm loans of UP farmers, fulfills poll promise. I has come as a big relief to the Uttar Pradesh farmers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath waived off the loan of small and marginal farmers costing Rs. 36, 359 crore. Cabinet Minister Siddharth Nath Singh said the decision, taken at the first cabinet meeting of the Adityanath government, will benefit 2 crore and 15 lakh farmers of the state. The farmers will also get Rs 10 more than the minimum support price per quintal.
