Venezuelan National Assembly Congresswoman Delsa Solorzano reported that national police forces threw tear gas at the clinic where she was being treated for injuries in Caracas on April 10, yelling, “This is for continuing to treat congresspeople!”

Solorzano reported that she was hit in the chest by a tear gas canister on April 10 while protesting against President Nicholas Maduro and the recent move by the Venezuelan Supreme Court to take power away from the National Assembly, which was led by parties opposed to Maduro and members critical of his policies.
