Mike Sorrentino is looking at a situation.
The 34 year old reality star has reportedly been hit with a serious tax dodging charges again and this time, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
Reports claim Mike and his brother were indicted in Newark New Jersey for tax evasion and falsifying records, including filing a false return for the Jersey Shore star’s fashion line, Situation Nation.
Mike is accused of conspiring to defraud the US by dodging taxes from 2010 to 2012 on 8.9 million dollars in income from promotional events.
They say he evaded payment by filing false returns and by claiming millions in business expenses, including buying pricey cars and personal grooming, plus he allegedly underreported net business income.
The indictment also alleged that Mike failed to file a personal 2011 income tax return, and on the same day, he made several cash deposits in several banks accounts in amounts less than ten thousand dollars allegedly to evade the banks’ IRS reporting requirements.
His attorney issued a statement saying that Mike will enter a not guilty plea on April 17th and will vigorously contest the allegations in court.
If convicted of all the charges, Sorrentino could face 20 years in prison.
