The old church has been demolished and a new one was erected in its place. Currently MSFS Fathers are running the parish of Valpoi Satari Goa. Rev. Fr. Daniel Alphonso is the parish priest. The Church has been consecrated by the Archbishop of Goa, Msgr. Felipe Neri Ferrao. The Bishop first sprinkled the holy water on all the faithful gathered and then after the sermon he blessed the new Altar and finally the Blessed Sacrament was taken and placed in the Tabernacle.
