Two cattle on the loose in Lismore, County Waterford, caused a traffic jam on March 29, when they trotted down one of the main roads through the town.
The two cattle made a nuisance of themselves, forcing a farmer on a quadbike to give chase, as well as a police car. At one point the quadbike rider is forced to abandon his vehicle when it begins to emit a plume of smoke.
Caitlin Lyons, who happened to be driving through the town at the time, recorded video of the slow pursuit, and found the whole episode extremely comical. Credit: Caitlin Lyons via Storyful
