The Miami Marlins are drawing in some interesting bidders to potentially buy the baseball team. According to Fox Business, former New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter and former Florida governor Jeb Bush were two contenders in buying the team. Marlins owner Jeffery Loria previously made a $1.6 billion deal with the Kushner family to sell the team, but the family withdrew after Loria was nominated to be an ambassador under President Trump. It’s still unknown who will buy the Marlins, but a baseball executive told Fox Business that the deal will go to whoever is offering the most cash.
