Senator John McCain slammed the Trump administration for not prioritizing to help put an end to the Syrian civil war. “It is another disgraceful chapter in American history and it was predictable,” McCain told CNN’s “New Day” on Tuesday. McCain expressed sorrow about Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s statements that the Syrian people will be able to determine their own futures. McCain called on Trump to work with the Free Syrian Army to help end the war and remove Bashar al-Assad from power.
