Hall of Famer and former Georgetown Hoya Patrick Ewing is heading back to his alma-mater to take the reigns of the Georgetown University basketball team. Ewing, who will leave his current role as the associate head coach of the Charlotte Hornets, is replacing John Thompson III, son of his former coach John Thompson Jr. In addition to his Hall of Fame career with the New York Knicks in the NBA, Ewing brought Georgetown to three national championships and one title during his four years.
