A third Democratic senator, Joe Donnelly, announced his support for President Trump's Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch on Sunday. "I believe that he is a qualified jurist who will base his decisions on his understanding of the law and is well-respected among his peers," Donelly Donelly of Indiana joins Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia in backing Gorsuch. The Senate is expected to vote on Gorsuch on Friday before lawmakers leave Washington for a two-week recess.
