Activists in the opposition-held Damascus suburb of Arbin reported strikes on the town on April 1, as fighting continued between rebel forces and troops loyal to the Syrian government in east Damascus.

The Syrian Civil Defense, more commonly known as the White Helmets, reported civilian injuries and damage to businesses as a result of the strikes.
