Kurdish forces involved in the ongoing US-backed military operation to capture the Euphrates Dam from the Islamic State in the Raqqa province neutralized several IS suicide bombers and at least one car bomb in clashes in Ajil al-Sharqi on April 1.

The footage shows an ongoing firefight between Kurdish and Islamic State fighters, as well as the moment of detonation of at least one IS explosive device. Kurdish fighters at the end of the video approach one of the bodies to identify a suicide explosive belt before capturing a shelled out building.
