A landslide killed at least 112 people and injured 190 in Mocoa, in Colombia’s Putumayo region, on April 1. Hundreds are still missing, according to reports. Videos show emergency workers rescuing victims in the early hours of Saturday.
The landslide was caused by the sudden rise of three rivers in the Putumayo region, president Juan Manuel Santos said. It rained 130 millimeters (over 5 inches) on Friday night, according to the Colombian president.
