Two people were killed on Sunday, April 2, when their trailer flipped as an apparent tornado ripped over Rapides Parish in central Louisiana. The storm crossed over Alexandria, causing significant damage as it crossed the bayous.

Flood and storm warnings were still in place in the area, and forecasters said more severe weather was expected.
