A daredevil embraced inclement weather lashing the Gold Coast on Thursday, March 30, by using a mate’s ute to water-ski a heavily flooded road.

Matt Sewell glided along the muddy water in a canal running alongside Brisbane Road, saying he had long hoped to make it happen and now could finally mark the activity “off the bucket list”.
