A state of emergency has been declared in Atlanta after a massive fire lead to a portion of I-85 to collapse. The Atlanta Police Department was able to shut down the lanes so nobody was on the highway when it collapsed. Witnesses say troopers were telling cars to turn around on the bridge Minutes later, the bridge collapsed. Thanks to the quick response from the APD and firefighters, Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal said the cause of the fire is unknown Deal also said that there is no timetable for reopening the stretch of highway but said it would "take some time to get it repaired and to get it back in service."
