A heartwarming video has emerged of a woman being able to walk again after bleeding in her brain left her unable her to use her right arm and right leg as well as process and retrieve information.

The footage, shot late last year at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, USA, shows Hannah Anderson walking in a corridor and down a flight of stairs after being bed-bound for a month.

Hannah's father told Newsflare she first went to hospital for what they thought was a migraine but turned out to be bleeding in her brain.

"The condition is ITP or idiopathic thrombocytopenia. She was given a small chance at survival initially," he said.

"She was in a coma for weeks, had complications with bleeding in her lungs, had her spleen removed, and a tracheostomy tube placed after being intubated for 3 weeks."

"Once she stabilized we were transferred to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City in October. When we arrived Hannah couldn't walk, talk, or eat without assistance," he added.

"She started talking immediately after arriving and progress quickly."

"She stayed in Salt Lake until December 16th and was able to come home from the hospital for the first time in almost 5 months."
