KARACHI: Pakistan will experience mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country, and is likely to remain in the upcoming days.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, continental air is prevailing in most parts of the country.

Karachi also witnessed a high temperature of 35 degrees centigrade on Saturday. The mercury is expected to rise further and reach 38 degrees in the next few days.

Hot and dry weather is also expected in Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar as well as several parts of Balochistan.

However, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places of Quetta, Malakand divisions and FATA .

The lowest temperature was recorded in Kalam at minus one degree, while Mithi and Mirpurkhas witnessed the highest at 39 degrees.
