Saint-Etienne kept their hopes of a Europa Cup place alive with a narrow win against Dijon in Ligue 1 on Sunday. 'Les Verts' couldn't afford to slip up after earlier win for Bordeaux and were thankful of a 77th minute goal from Jordan Veretout. Saint-Etienne currently lie in seventh spot, two points behind Europa League place occupants Marseille in fifth. Dijon, on the other hand, are in big trouble and currently lie 17th place in the table.
