A dramatic video has emerged of a biker crashing after a dog ran across the road and hit his motorcycle.

The footage, shot with a helmet-mounted camera last year in San Bernardino, CA, USA, captures the moment the dog rushed across the road leaving the motorcyclist no chance to avoid it.

He told Newsflare he couldn't find the dog after the accident.

"I wasn't wearing protective gear on my legs or feet, which resulted in me getting some road rash," he wrote online.

"The bike was wrecked, sold it for $1000 soon after the video, and I am yet to get another bike," he added.
