An Afghan military hospital was sieged by gunmen on Wednesday. The gunmen were cloaked as hospital workers and managed to kill 30 people while also wounding 50 others. The Islamic State Group (ISIS) have claimed responsibility for the attacks. Out of the 4 gunmen, 2 were suicide bombers that detonated their vests once they entered the hospital. The remaining two attackers were shot dead by the Afghan security forces. The tragedy continues to challenge the Afghan government’s abilities to improve security for its citizens.
