We are used to see on field fights and competition in IPL, but IPL 10 Auctions witnessed one such battle between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Lions. Nita Ambani's son was bidding for Mumbai Indians and Keshav Bansal for Gujarat Lions at the event. The two were bidding for Karn Sharma who had a base price of Rs 30 lakh. Both were not willing to back down as they kept on raising the bar. Eventually it was Ambani junior who won as Mumbai outplayed Gujarat to get Karn Sharma for 3.2 crore. But the battle showed everyone that the owners mean business as they are willing to go the extra mile. So when it comes down to it, not only are the players going at each other on the field, the owners are facing off on the bidding table.
