North Korean embassy counsellor Kim Yu-song came out of the premise at about 12.30pm and was heard shouting at several police officers stationed around the embassy after being blocked from leaving its premises.

Officials from the North Korean embassy in Damansara were prevented from leaving the embassy this afternoon as police tried to ascertain the number of staff still left behind following expulsion of its ambassador.

He managed to leave in a Black Mercedes-Benz at about 2.15pm after the police cordon has been removed.
