Sakshi Maharaj said, whether it is a graveyard or a crematorium, the dead should be cremated, there is no need to bury anyone. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi ignited a debate by making the kabristan-shamshaan remark in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh recently, BJP leader Sakshi Maharaj added fuel to the 'burning' issue. According to the BJP leader, every dead body should be cremated, irrespective of whether a person is a Muslim or a Hindu. The practice of burying is followed by Muslims and Hindus cremate their dead ones. Controversial BJP leader Sakshi Maharaj says, everyone, irrespective of his/her religion, should be cremated. He added that as burying people requires more space thus it must be avoided. There are 2-2.5 crore priests, if you make a samadhi for each one, how much space will it take? There are 20 crore Muslims, if each one of them has to be buried, where is the space for it in India.
