In order to see the operations of the Bank-supported suburban rail system in Mumbai, World Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kristalina Georgieva, travelled in local train from Churchgate to Dadar. This is Georgieva’s first official visit to the country. Sharing her experience, Kristalina said that it was wonderful to be part of this incredible commute. Later in the day, she will be holding discussions with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other prominent leaders.
