Haryana sport minister Anil Vij slammed those supporting Gurmehar Kaur and dubbed them as pro-Pakistan, therefore such people should be thrown out of the country. This is after Gurmehar Kaur backed off from the stir after being threatened. Vij, who represent the BJP, is not new to controversy. In January this year, the minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a bigger brand than Mahatma Gandhi. This was right after Modi's face replaced Gandhi's in the annual khadi calendar.
