Footage has emerged of waves swelling in the Chasewater reservoir in Staffordshire, UK as storm Doris brings strong gulfs of wind on Thursday.

"Big waves are hitting the reservoir, wakelake pier and the shore by the valve house," the filmer wrote online.

"All the banners from the pier have been ripped apart. The waves crashing against the wakeboarding rams."
