Tawa Mutton Gosht is a dry preparation where mutton pieces are marinated with coriander-ginger-garlic paste and pressure cooked. Then the mutton pieces are cooked further in Indian spices and tossed well on tawa (pan). This is an easy to make lip smacking Indian main course recipe of Mutton which is enjoyed by all.

Ingredients:

1 Kg Boneless Mutton Pieces
1/2 Cup Coriander-Ginger-Garlic-Green Chilli paste
1 Cup Water
4 tbsp Ghee
4-5 Onions, chopped
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
2-3 Green Chillies
4-5 Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste

Method:

- Marinate the mutton pieces with coriander-ginger-garlic-green chilli paste. Also add little salt.
- Pressure cook the mutton on 4-5 whistles on medium flame.
- On a large pan heat some ghee.
- Add chopped onions and saute till brown.
- Then add the remaining coriander-ginger-garlic-green chilli paste. Mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala. Saute well.
- Then add the cooked mutton pieces and saute. Add little left over mutton water and mix well.
- Add salt as required and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves, green chillies and curry leaves.
- Tawa Gosht is ready to be served!
