President Donald Trump announces Lt. General H.R. McMaster will serve as his National Security Adviser. This will fill the spot vacated by the resignation of Michael Flynn. The announcement was made at President Trump's Florida residence Mar-A-Lago.

General McMaster is the head of the Army Capabilities Integration Center. Lt. General Keith Kellogg will go back to his role as chief of staff of the National Security Council.
