Kate Hudson doesn’t need to use dating apps, thank you very much.

The 37-year-old actress showed up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she was asked if she would ever consider swiping left and right to find dates in her single life.

Kate says she “can’t imagine,” but she knows what they are. She tells the talk show, “what’s crazy is that there’s a lot of celebrity types on these dating apps, which kind of makes you go, ‘Oh, maybe. No.’ So what? You look at a guy, he’s hot, and then you see his profile and you’re like, ‘Maybe I’ll text him or maybe we’ll match? Then you start texting and it just goes away?”

Yes Kate, that’s pretty much how it works.

But Kate’s more of an old-school gal. She tells the talk show, “I just think: Why don’t you just meet a guy in Starbucks? Why don’t you just got up to someone and why doesn’t a guy have the guts to come up and say, ‘Hey, I’m so-and-so. How about we hang out?”

Good point, Kate. However, since she is a famous actress, and looks the way she does, we’re pretty sure Kate’s dating app is just called “leaving her house.”
