Adrian Peterson, who told ESPN a few weeks ago that if the Vikings were to release him before next season and he became a free agent he would be interested in joining the Giants, tweeted more love toward Big Blue on Wednesday. The move that would seem to be of the most direct interest to Peterson would be the release of Rashad Jennings, which leaves the Giants with Paul Perkins and Shane Vereen at running back heading into the busier segments of free agency. The Vikings have until March 11 to decide whether the team wants to keep its 2007 first-round pick and all-time leading rusher, or cut him and avoid a $6 million roster bonus and $18 million cap hit in 2017.
