A scary video has emerged of a lion snapping at a tourist as he films it from his car in Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The footage, shot last month, captures the moment the lion stares at the camera before trying to bite it.

"Even though I hadn't thought that I was disturbing him too much, it reminded me to always be respectful of an animal's personal space," the filmer wrote online.
