NHL referee delays announcing penalty to yell 'F*** YOU! F*** YOU

During the Blue Jackets-Predators game on Thursday night, NHL referee Frederic L’Ecuyer was clearly not in the mood for any heckling from a player.

During the second period, he was caught on a hot mic yelling ‘Fuck You’, ‘Fuck You’, before he announced a penalty.


Well, that wasn't very nice.

Upon calling a penalty in Thursday night's game between the Nashville Predators and Columbus Blue Jackets, referee Frederick L'Ecuyer was caught shouting some profanity.

Now, he's certainly not the first person to swear at a hockey game, but he might be the first to do it at center ice with his mic on.
