Mexican drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman has been extradited from Mexico to the United States. A statement by the foreign ministry Guzman was one of the world's most wanted drug lords until he was recaptured in January 2016 and held in a prison in northern Mexico. The court decision to send 'El Chapo' to the U.S. on Thursday rejected his lawyer's attempt to block his extradition.
