During his Friday appearance on CNN's 'New Day,' Brian Fallon, Hillary Clinton's former press secretary said President-elect Donald Trump is "insecure" about his victory.
Reflecting on the recent developments related to Russia, pre-election hacking activity, and DOJ's investigation, Fallon said, "I think Donald Trump is trying to cling to whatever legitimacy is still in effect here."
He also noted, “Every day there are new developments, new shoes dropping so to speak, that call into question the legitimacy of his win."
Commenting on Trump's recent tweets, he said, "...just the latest indication that Donald Trump is someone who’s very insecure in his victory. And I understand why.”
Trump had tweeted earlier on Friday, "What are Hillary Clinton's people complaining about with respect to the F.B.I. Based on the information they had she should never have been allowed to run - guilty as hell. They were VERY nice to her. She lost because she campaigned in the wrong states - no enthusiasm!"
His tweets were posted after Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced on Thursday that the FBI will undergo a review over its handling of the Hillary Clinton email server investigation.
