SeaWorld ends killer whale show in San Diego location

SeaWorld has decided to end its killer whale show in San Diego after plummeting attendance prompted the company to renounce the performance. The last show will be held at the Shamu Stadium pool will have its final performances on Sunday. Following pressure from activists, the attraction parks in Orlando and San Antonio also plan to end their shows by 2019. The attraction company experienced a decline in attendance after the 2013 documentary "Blackfish" criticized conditions of captive orcas. The documentary argued that the killer whales became aggressive due to growing up captivity.
