Crowds of chefs and waiters protested outside Harrods in London on Saturday in a row over workers’ tips.
At least one person was arrested after a smoke bomb was set off as demonstrators held banners and chanted demands for a fairer deal from the famous London store.
The protest was led by union the United Voices of the World who claim the high-end department store pockets up to 75 per cent of tips left in its restaurants - working out as £5,000 a year.
