Dental Sealant - Dental Reconstruction or Tooth Decay Treatment

Views 58

This is a 3D medical animation showing application of Dental sealant for reconstruction of damaged teeth. In this dental reconstruction method, a plastic material is applied to one or more teeth, to prevent dental caries (cavities) or other forms of tooth decay. This is a short and easy treatment that does not require drilling or removing tooth structure. After the tooth is cleaned, a special gel is placed on the chewing surface for a few seconds. The tooth is then washed off and dried. Then, the sealant is painted on the tooth. The dentist or dental hygienist also may shine a light on the tooth to help harden the sealant. It takes about a minute for the sealant to form a protective shield. Check http://bit.ly/2iX9lap to know more about dental animations.
