Drone footage has emerged showing the extent of flooding in the city of Pergamino, Argentina.

The video, captured on Monday, shows a major road completely underwater, while residents struggle to get through the deep floodwater.

According to local reports, the flooding forced thousands out of their homes, while New Year's festivities were cancelled city-wide.
