Story:\r
Once upon a time, there was a little girl, who always wore a bright red coat with\r
a hood, wherever she went. It looked so good on her, that she became known as\r
Little Red Riding Hood.\r
One day, Little Red Riding Hood and her Mother made a delicious cake.\r
MOTHER - “When the cake is finished, you shall go through the forest to Grandmothers\r
house, as she is not very well, and she would be very happy to see you”, said her Mother,\r
“but be very careful, and stay on the path!”\r
So as soon as the cake was finished, she went skipping off down the long,\r
winding path, through the forest to Grandmothers house.\r
On the way, Little Red Riding Hood spotted some beautiful flowers in a nearby\r
meadow.\r
RIDING HOOD - “I know I shouldnt wander from the path”, she said “but Grandmother\r
would love these flowers!”,\r
So she skipped out into the meadow, and began picking a bunch of flowers.\r
When she was done, she placed them carefully in her coat, and walked back\r
towards the path. But before she could get there, a great wolf appeared!\r
He was very hungry, and wanted to gobble up Little Red Riding Hood in an\r
instant, but the Wolf could see people nearby, so instead, he spoke very politely.\r
WOLF - “Where are you going today?”\r
Little Red Riding Hood didnt know how dangerous it was to speak to strangers.\r
RIDING HOOD - “I am on my way to my Grandmothers house. Shes quite unwell, so Im\r
bringing her this cake, and these flowers.”\r
WOLF - “Does she live far from here?” asked the Wolf\r
RIDING HOOD - “It is just above the mill which you may see up there – the first house you \r
come to in the village.”\r
And at that, the Wolf ran quickly off into the trees, and Little Red Riding Hood\r
found her way back to the long, winding path, and skipped on merrily to her\r
Grandmothers house.\r
She knocked at the door. “Its me Grandmother. Ive brought you cake and\r
flowers”\r
GRANDMOTHER (WOLF) - “*cough* How lovely, do come in my child.”\r
Upon hearing the deep gruff voice, Little Red Riding Hood thought that her\r
Grandmother must be very unwell indeed, so she opened the door and walked\r
through to her Grandmothers bedroom.\r
But to her surprise, Grandmother looked very different.\r
RIDING HOOD - “Grandmother, what great ears you have!”\r
WOLF - “That is to hear you the better, my dear.”\r
RIDING HOOD - “Grandmother, what great eyes you have!”\r
WOLF - “That is to see you the better, my dear.”\r
Little Red Riding Hood was now very suspicious, and didnt think this was her\r
Grandmother at all.\r
RIDING HOOD - “What a great mouth you have!”\r
WOLF - “That is to eat you up!,” cried the wicked wolf; who leapt out of the bed and\r
chased Little Red Riding Hood. She ran as fast as she could.\r
RIDING HOOD - “Help! Help! A wolf is chasing me!” she cried.\r
And the people of the village came running to help.\r
Knowing that he would be caught, the Wolf disappeared off into the trees, never\r
to be seen again, and from that day, Little Red Riding Hood learned how\r
dangerous it was to speak to strangers.\r
They call me Little Red Riding Hood\r
Skipping on through the woods\r
Ill keep my feet on the path, with a tap-tip-tap\r
just the way I should\r
When Im skipping on down the street\r
I can hear the birdies tweet\r
And wherever I go, I always know\r
where to put my feet\r
They call me Little Red Riding Hood\r
Skipping on through the woods\r
Ill keep my feet on the path, with a tap-tip-tap\r
just the way I should\r
