It was a befitting honour for the father of Indian cinema Dada Saheb Phalke, when a life sized statue of the genius, was unveiled to commemorate the 100 years of Indian cinema. Present at the Dada Saheb Phalke Awards 2012 were veterans like Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu and Subhash Ghai. Actors like Kajol, Tanisha, Ali Zafar, Raveena Tandon and others also graced the event and said that they were honoured to be a part of the prestigious ceremony.
