Actor Akshay Kumar, who will be next seen playing the role of Lord Krishna in upcoming 'divine comedy' OMG Oh My God!, gushed a lot about the movie during the digital promo launch event of the flick, which also stars Paresh Rawal.
Talking to the media, Kumar said, "I had gone to see the play Kishan v/s Kanhaiya, when it was playing at Rang Sharda in Bandra and watching the play made me decide that a film should be made on this play. I am a believer of God but after seeing the play, I realized that I had been praying to God in the wrong way. God just wants to see goodness in us and for us to help others and if we do that, it is more than enough. Watching this play completely changed my approach of praying to God."
Directed by Umesh Shukla, OMG Oh My God! is a hilarious story about an atheist, who files a legal suit against God after suffering losses to his business following a natural calamity. The film, produced by Grazing Goat Productions, Viacom 18 and S. Spice, is slated to release on September 28 this year.
