Ekta Kapoor, who is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film Ek Thi Daayan, feels that no woman is a witch or a goddess, what she becomes actually depends on the man, she is with. At a promotional event of the film when Ekta was asked who actually is her heroine, a Goddess like she portrays in her TV serials or a Daayan like in the movie, she said, "A woman is neither a Lakshmi nor a daayan, it depends on who is in front of her ... If her husband is like Lord Vishnu, she is Lakshmi, if he is a devil she turns into daayan."
Directed by Kannan Iyer, the film features Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlinand Huma Qureshi in the lead roles and is slated to release on April 18, this year.
