Kamal Haasan, whose latest release Vishwaroopam has been banned in Tamil Nadu by the state government for allegedly hurting the Muslim sentiments, has received an overwhelming response from the film fraternity and the media. Now Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha too has offered to break the impasse over the film. At a press conference Haasan thanked the media, members of the film industry and Jayalalithaa for coming out in his support.
