Surprisingly, I found no biographical data at all about this orchestra led by pianist Lloyd Huntley, active in the late 20s and early 30. They made around 15 records in Chicago in 1929 and 1930. Members included Dana Garrett and Eddie Ballantine, t; Harold Axtell, tb; Larry Clark, Andy Anderson and Don Turner, cl-as; Paul Agne, ts and vn; Floyd Rock, violin and v; Clyde Chase, p; Clayton Cunningham, bj-g; Dana N. Brown, bb, as well as Red Jackson, d. This lovely side, probably featuring a vocal by Eddy Thomas, was made in 1930.
