Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took to social media on Thursday to say he was fined $18,000 for the cleats he wore on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Beckham said they were a tribute to TNT announcer Craig Sager, who died last week. Earlier this week Beckham Jr. made a point after Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott escaped a fine for jumping into an oversize Salvation Army kettle saying that he would have been fined for doing the same thing. "It's just the way the world works," Beckham said. "There are double standards everywhere. It's just how life is."
