Director Sajid Khan, who is looking forward to the release of his upcoming directorial venture Humshakals, says that contrary to rumours, the film is not a remake of Angoor and that he has sworn not to make remakes post the Himmatwala debacle. At the music launch of the film, Sajid said, ''When I spoke with the media two year ago about Humshakals, there were rumours that the film is a remake of Angoor however, it is not at all a remake of Angoor. I made one remake in life and I have sworn not to make a remake again.'' Sajid says that his stint in television helped him in sketching a few characters of his film. ''This idea was there in my mind and some second and third characters played by my actors are similar to what I had played in my TV serials, so I was at ease writing them. There is a song in my film hum pagal nhi hai humara dimaag kharab hai, this is a dialogue which I used to say in one of my TV shows. So I wanted to make a new kind of comedy, with no vulgarity and double-meaning dialogues,'' he further added. Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor will essay triple roles in the movie, which also stars Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta in the lead roles.
