Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who has experimented with a lot of genres in a career spanning over a decade, says that his career choices have been very self-destructive. At a recent event, he said, ''My career decisions have been quite self-destructive. Trade feels that Emraan Hashmi does commercial films and then he does a film like Shanghai and then a dark comedy like Ghanchakkar but that is something I like. I like to stretch my creative skills with such movies and I would always want to do films like this. I want to maintain a balance between mainstream commercial movies and niche films.'' Emraan will be next seen in Raja Natwarlal, which is slated to release on August 29.
