Matey is a lavender Border Collie puppy with aqua blue eyes and a pink nose. He wears pink jewelry and a silver tiara. Matey has white fur on his belly and a white muzzle.\r
Ariel met him when he was jumping from a boat that had just sailed away from the dock and fell into the water while Ariel was waiting for Prince Eric at the harbor. After Ariel dove into the water to rescue him, she took Matey home with her. Ariel is now teaching him how to swim.\r
