Concerned about how to stand while shooting a concealed carry weapon? Interested in brushing up your wealth of knowledge on shooting techniques?

James England from http://aliengearholsters.com/ demonstrated and shared insight on three basic shooting stance techniques.

Take a look at our concealed carry training guide for more info - http://aliengearholsters.com/blog/concealed-carry-training-guide/

The isosceles position provides a great field of view for engaging targets. With feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, and body canted down, the shooter is able to engage multiple targets with relative ease while their skeleton absorbs recoil.

The weaver shooting stance positions the dominant foot back, aligning the firearm with the dominant eye to set up a poised, calm shot.

James’ modified stance combines the elements of the weaver, with the dominant foot a slight step back, and the isosceles, with the squared shoulders and canted body for a wider field of view.
